TallCenter Privacy Policy

1. Scope and age

This Policy applies to the TallCenter mobile application, website, and related services. TallCenter is designed for users ages 10–20. If local law requires parental or guardian consent for a minor to use an online service or provide personal information, a parent or guardian must create or manage the account and provide the required consent. TallCenter is not offered through Apple’s Kids Category.

2. Information you provide

Depending on how you use TallCenter, you may provide:

• Age or birth month, role (self or guardian), locale, unit preference, and optional nickname.
• Self-reported sex reference used by the family-height formula, current height, optional weight, biological parents’ heights, recent growth, developmental context, and onboarding answers about typical sleep, nutrition, and activity routines.
• Height measurements, dates, daily check-ins, plan progress, and reminder preferences.
• Consent records and policy versions.
• Account identifiers when you use anonymous access or link Sign in with Apple or Google.
• Messages you send to support.

Please do not submit medical records or information that the app does not request.

3. Information generated or collected automatically

TallCenter may generate educational family-height estimates, ranges, factor summaries, daily plans, and progress summaries from your inputs. We may also collect limited device, app version, language, diagnostic, security, purchase-status, and feature-interaction information needed to run and improve the service.

General analytics events are designed not to include height, weight, parents’ heights, birth date, developmental answers, free text, or prediction results. Device and platform providers may nonetheless supply standard technical identifiers under their own policies.

4. How we use information

• Provide the assessment, educational estimate, daily plan, measurements, check-ins, summaries, reminders, sharing tools, and localization.
• Authenticate accounts, synchronize data, restore access, and validate subscription entitlements.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and support users.
• Understand aggregate funnel and feature performance and improve the service.
• Comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect users and Micavo.

We do not use TallCenter to diagnose a condition or make an automated decision that creates legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Services and disclosures

We may disclose information to vendors acting for us only as needed to provide their services. TallCenter’s current technical stack may include:

• Google Firebase for authentication, cloud database, server functions, messaging, security, and analytics.
• Apple and Google for account sign-in, app distribution, purchases, notifications, and platform services.
• RevenueCat for subscription offering, entitlement, purchase, and restore management.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect safety or rights, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information or use sensitive growth information for targeted advertising.

6. Legal bases and international processing

Where applicable, we process information to perform our contract with you, based on consent (including guardian consent when required), for legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, and to meet legal obligations. Service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards.

7. Retention

We retain account data, assessments, estimates, measurements, check-ins, and consent records while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service. After a verified deletion, we delete or de-identify associated app data within a reasonable period, subject to backup cycles and limited retention required for security, fraud prevention, payment records, disputes, or law.

8. Your choices and rights

In TallCenter Settings, you can export your assessment, measurements, and check-ins and request permanent deletion of your account and app data without a Pro subscription. You can also change reminder permissions in device Settings, manage linked sign-in providers, and manage subscriptions in the App Store or Google Play.

Deleting the app or your TallCenter data does not cancel an active store subscription. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information and to withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise these rights. We may verify your request, and a guardian may need to act for a minor.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls and user-scoped cloud rules. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Health and wellness notice

TallCenter provides an educational family-height estimate based on self-reported information. It is not a bone-age test, medical diagnosis, treatment, or guarantee of growth. Exercise, nutrition, and sleep guidance supports general wellness and does not guarantee additional height.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy as the product or law changes. We will post the updated version here, change the “Last updated” date, and provide additional notice when required.
