EatOrNot AI Terms of Service

Last updated: June 9, 2026. These Terms govern your access to and use of EatOrNot AI, an AI nutrition coach operated by Micavo.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using EatOrNot AI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account access secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating or updating your profile.

3. Nutrition and Health Disclaimer

EatOrNot AI provides informational nutrition estimates and coaching. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making major diet, health, weight-management, or medical decisions.

AI-generated food analysis may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for evaluating recommendations before acting on them.

4. AI Food Analysis

Food photos, descriptions, profile context, locale, health context, and nutrition logs may be used to generate calorie, macro, and coaching estimates. Results are estimates only and should not be treated as verified nutrition facts.

5. Apple Health and Permissions

EatOrNot AI may use Apple Health data only with your permission to personalize energy budgets and nutrition coaching. You can manage Health, camera, photo, microphone, speech recognition, and notification permissions in iOS Settings.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

EatOrNot AI may offer free, Pro, Premium, beta, or other paid features. Purchases and subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store systems and may be processed with services such as RevenueCat.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period. Billing, cancellation, renewal, and refunds are governed by Apple App Store policies.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse EatOrNot AI, including by:

  • Attempting to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or bypass the app or backend systems.
  • Submitting unlawful, harmful, abusive, or infringing content.
  • Using the app to provide medical advice or emergency health guidance to another person.
  • Attempting to evade quotas, subscriptions, security controls, or access limits.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of food photos, descriptions, logs, and other content you submit. You grant Micavo the rights needed to host, process, analyze, display, and support that content for operating EatOrNot AI.

9. Third-Party Services

EatOrNot AI may rely on third-party services for authentication, cloud storage, AI processing, analytics, crash reporting, purchase validation, and subscription management. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and policies.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in the EatOrNot AI Privacy Policy. By using the app, you acknowledge that the Privacy Policy applies to your use of EatOrNot AI.

11. Service Changes and Availability

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update quotas, plan benefits, model behavior, or supported integrations as the service evolves.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create risk for other users or systems, or if continued access would be unlawful or impractical.

13. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

EatOrNot AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Micavo is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for decisions you make based on app outputs.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date. Continued use of EatOrNot AI after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
